Canadian Geese are all back!
Well, the honkers are here! All morning they are honking and walking everywhere. It is a delight to see - even thru the rain, I am happy that Spring is coming for sure now. The mallards are here too, but those little guys move slow and are so quiet. The honkers are very noisy, and seem to like being in the middle of the road looking at you. Of course, you drive around them, and they don't budge! Very confident bird, I must say. They are so good to their mates, the boy protects the girl, and they are both so good to their children. What fun birds to watch.

As Donna S. says: "She Works Hard for Her Money"
Kind of sad - the work force of today. Very few of us left, that work hard for our pay and are happy to get it. It seems like all everyone wants to do is "play" at work. ( And then talk about it afterward.) So, it makes me think - "Am I the wrong one?". The more I do, the more they give me, so maybe it is me! Well, that's my bee-otch of the day!

Missing Fuel Filter ??
Well, here we go, another glitch in living solo! I went to the auto store, bought an oil filter, oil, air cleaner, etc. getting ready to give "Elvis", my Silverado, a spring tune-up. My Dad said to always keep the fuel filter clean for good performance, which I have done in the past. So, I asked the guy about a fuel filter for my 2005 Silverado, as there wasn't one listed in my owners manual. He said sure there is one, and I said throw one in the box and that's all I need.
So, I get home, and empty the box he made up and there is this HUGE filter, almost the size of the oil filter and it is the fuel filter. Well, ones I have had in the past would fit in the palm of your hand, so what the heck is this monster??? I sat down and read the manual again, and there is no mention of this monster, or the tiny one I thought I was buying. So, I am on a mission today, to find out where my truck cleans the fuel. Gotta keep "Elvis" happy!
